KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. The government, People's Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia or DPR, and DPD have agreed on 47 draft laws or bills (RUU) to be included in the national legislative program (Prolegnas) priority for 2024.

The Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Body (Baleg) DPR, Achmad Baidowi, explained that the DPR Baleg, in the context of compiling the prolegnas bill priority for 2024, has received 78 bill proposals, of which 10 bills are new proposals to be considered for inclusion in the prolegnas bill priority next year.

From this number, the DPR Baleg, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, and the DPD agreed to use parameters in compiling the prolegnas priority for 2024. Among others, the bill is in the first level discussion stage, the bill waiting for the president's letter (Surpres), and the bill has been harmonized, rounded, and solidified in concept at the DPR Baleg.
